The companies which have pre-qualified for the concession will sign their agreement on the tender terms on the 20.nov 06 The time frame for passing the port into a private concession ends on the 20.dec 06. In case this will not happen the port autority can extend the time limits by an executive degree.

The contract for the concession of the port of manta will be signed by the president of the republic, Alfredo Palacios this friday. The act will be held on the international pier in presence of the new concessionaries, terminales internacionals ecuador (tide).
